by Garrett FriskDespite the fact that Pennsylvania is a perennial battleground state and has multiple highly competitive congressional districts, its 2024 House elections have received relatively little attention compared to House races in other states. Still, some candidates have already declared their campaigns. In the 1st district, government affairs consultant Ashley Ehasz is back for another run against Republican Brian Fitzpatrick. Ehasz was the Democratic nominee for this district in 2022 and lost by an 8.0% margin. Her campaign website can be found here. Democrat Salem Snow, running against 2nd district Democrat Brendan Boyle, is also a repeat candidate. A democratic socialist and activist, Snow ran for this district in 2020 and 2022 but failed to make the ballot either time. His website can be found here. In the 11th district, emergency medical technician Jeremy Wilder is challenging incumbent Lloyd Smucker in the Republican primary. Wilder's campaign Facebook page can be found here. Finally, in the 14th district, Democratic activist Kimberly Felan is challenging incumbent Republican Guy Reschenthaler. Her ActBlue page can be found here. Comments are closed.
